Needle rollers are items that can be supplied separately or as a part of more complicated products, for instance, roller bearings. They represent cylindrical pieces having considerable length-diameter ratio. More frequently they are used in bearings having dimensional limits in radial direction. Version A has spherical ends and version B flat ends. Spherical ends of a version A roller gives lesser strain causing damage of hardware. Dimensions and tolerances of these products are listed in GOST 6870. The manufactured products have several accuracy classes where roller diameter tolerances are directly dependant on general accuracy of the product piece.
Needle rollers are supplied in boxes containing one standard size of one specific accuracy class. Box bears standard indications ensuring easy recognition of a product type, accuracy class and average batch tolerance.
